FIDAS – Knitted Fabric Inspection on Compacting Machine

Go paperless using the FIDAS application with automated fabric quality data collected on your compacting machine where your fabrics are packed for your Customers.

Fabric Checker enters the defects while the fabric is on the move as defects are displayed in the touchscreen monitor. The system automatically calculates fabric grade in accordance with ASTM 4 point system and based on data collected by our automation devices and prints the roll/bale sticker and send the data for ERP for packing list generation, reporting purposes, and for further analytics.

  1. Multiple computer-integrated, fabric inspection  hardware devices would be fixed at fabric delivery points such as following
    • An industrial-grade PC with a touchscreen monitor that connects the following
    • Electronic Length Measurement Counter with RS-232 for computer communication
    • Automatic width measurement system with a USB port to measure width while the fabric is running to store width data on a real-time basis.
    • GSM scale with USB communication to PC to save GSM cutting weight.
    • Integration with weighing scale for Roll / Bale weighment. 
    • Barcode / QR Code printer to print roll stickers
